YWL、YWLA Series Electro-hydraulic drum brakes can be extensively used on large/middle outdoor cranes, having excellent deceleration braking and storm braking performance. It can also be used on large and middle special cranes, realizing stable deceleration braking and maintenance braking. Ideal braking performance of these series products is also represented on belt conveyors.
MAIN FEATURE

Interlocking shoe clearance balancing device and shoe auto-aligning device constantly equalize the clearance of brake shoes on both sides and make adjustment unnecessary, completely avoiding brake lining one side sticking to brake wheel.

At main hinge points where are equipped with self-lubricating bearings,which make higher efficiency of transmission and longer performance life.

The brake spring is arranged inside a square tube and a surveyor’s rod is placed on one side. It is easy to read braking torque value and avoid measuring and computing.

Brake lining is of card-mounted and entirely shaped structure, which is easy and quick to replace. Brake lining of various materials such as semi-metal (non-asbestos) hard and half-hard, soft (include asbestos) substance are available for customer to choose

ADDITIONAL DEVICES
YWL Series
The YWL series brake is two-step braking device. In the first braking step, a minor torque(adjustable within the prescribed limits) is applied to make stable deceleration braking. When mechanism stops, the second step starts. A bigger torque (adjustable within the prescribed limits) is applied to realize reliable maintenance or storm braking.The interval time between the two steps staring can be adjusted by one-way speed-adjusting valve in the circuit of damping cylinder according to actual requirements(adjusting range with 2~8s). The dimensions and braking torque parameters of this series brakes comply with JB/T6406-2006,JB/ZQ4388-86 standard(with A series), and DIN15435 standard. Thrusters equipped on them are Ed series thrusters which comply with DIN15430 standard.
YWLA Series
The YWLA series brake is a delayed braking device (the delay time can be adjusted within 2~8 seconds), with bigger braking torque. Its function is the same as YWL, but don’t have the first step braking. Emergency braking electromagnetic valve can be installed if needed,which can realize emergency braking by handling it to make non-delay close when working machines are attacked by storm suddenly. The dimension and braking torque parameters of this series brakes comply with JB/T6406-2006 and DIN15435 standard, Ed series thrusters that comply with DIN15430 standard are adopted.
