QPL、CQPL SERIES PNEUMATIC DISC BRAKES

Disc Brake Jun 17, 2024

QPL、CQPL series Pneumatic Disc Brakes are widely used for speed reducing ,stopping/braking of the low or medium torque driving mechanism. The brakes can also be applied as tension brake on winding machines, such as: paper-web tension control, news paper publishing tension control, steel unwind control, wire and cable reel unwind tension etc.

The technical requirements of caliper disc brake shall conform to JB / T10917-2008 standard

Main Features:

▲ QPL is normally closed design-Spring Braking, released by pneumatic; CQPL is normally open design-Pneumatic Braking, released by spring. Brake force can be adjusted by required air pressure.

▲Compact structure, small size, sensitive action, light weight, easy to use

▲ Compact structure and small size, light. It is easy to control and operate.

▲ Installation: the brake is either horizontally mounted or vertically mounted. While it is used at horizontal shaft, the brake can be positioned within any angel around the disc, but ideally they should be mounted horizontally (in 3 or9 o’clock position); while it is applied at vertical shaft, no angle is required. Per disc can be fitted either one brake or two and more. When two or more brakes are applied, symmetrically installation is recommended.

▲ It needn’t set all power source separately, will be connected with air compressor station, and the braking time can be stepless adjustment with speed control valve in the gas line.

Operating Conditions:

◆ Ambient temperature:-25°C〜+ 40°C;

◆ Operation air pressure (Max.): 7bar

◆ Air requirement: dry and filtered compressed air, excluded corrosion gas.

◆ Special requirements can be discussed before production.

Basic Parameter:

● Product model:QPL、CQPL

● Applicable disc diameter:ØD≥610mm

Implementation Steps

Communicate thoroughly with clients to understand specific application scenarios and braking requirements.

Assess environmental conditions, such as seawater corrosion, high humidity, and high salinity.

Design suitable braking systems based on the needs and environmental conditions.
Determine materials, braking methods, and control systems.

Manufacture the brakes according to the design plan, ensuring quality and performance.

Conduct rigorous testing under actual use environments to ensure the reliability and safety of the braking system.

Ensure the system operates normally and provide necessary technical support.

Provide regular maintenance and upkeep services to ensure long-term stable operation of the braking system.

Respond promptly to client repair and replacement needs, offering technical support and training.
